Parks is proud to highlight the managing broker of our East Nashville office, Anna Altic!

Anna has been a part of the Parks family for two years. When it comes to real estate, she specializes in working with historic properties and eco-friendly homes. Anna comes from the hospitality industry where she worked as an event and catering manager. This experience was later followed by a transfer into convention sales for the Renaissance Nashville Hotel and the Nashville Convention Center.

Anna chose to become a real estate agent after purchasing her first home in East Nashville in 2002 with her then-husband. Her home buying experience made her completely fall in love with the real estate process. After the birth of her second child, Anna decided she didn’t want to be the parent who was the first to drop off her kids in the morning and the last to pick them up. Becoming an agent offered her the opportunity to do something she absolutely loves, while also giving her the time she was missing with her family while working in corporate America.

When asked why she chose to join the Parks Family of REALTORS®, Anna stated, “Bob and Marie approached me about opening an East Nashville office early in 2019. I was immediately taken by their authenticity as people and their commitment to supporting agents in whatever way they define their success.” She continued, “I was also drawn to the culture of collaboration and the idea that good agents are also good stewards in their communities. Parks marketing and tools are on par and, in many cases, more robust than big national companies – all with the perk of being a local company that thinks and cares about our local businesses and economies.”

If Anna could offer some tips to new agents, she would provide them with three main points. First, agents need to understand the power of their sphere of influence and the importance of being consistent and staying in flow with them. Secondly, she recommends defining what success looks like for you – not just transactionally, but also in terms of quality of life – and then don't compare yourself to other agents. Lastly, trust the process. “If you are working on and in your business consistently with the systems and education Parks provides, the results will be there. Then you can turn your worry off when it's not real estate time,” Anna stated.

Anna currently serves on the Greater Nashville REALTORS® Board of Directors and the Tennessee Association of REALTORS® Board of Directors. In her spare time, she loves being outdoors enjoying nature, religiously watching Jeopardy, and although she hates the word foodie, eating and drinking. She also has a passion for reading and photography. Fun fact: The only state Anna has yet to visit is Alaska!

We’re honored to have Anna as part of the Parks family!
